GP and SpecialistYour doctor.  Sometimes your doctor refers you to a Specialist. 
AcupunctureTiny needles put into important points on your body to help you heal.
AudiologistHealth Care Provider for hearing tests and hearing aids.
Aboriginal Health WorkerPerson who helps improve health in Aboriginal communities.
ChiropractorHealth Care Provider who treats your spinal bones and joints if they are sore.  Also see Physiotherapist.
DentistHealth Care Provider who checks and treats your teeth. Also new dentures.
Diabetes EducationDiabetes (blood sugar) education workshop.
DieticianHealth Care Provider who gives advice on healthy food and diet.
Exercise PhysiologistHealth Care Provider who studies the body's response to physical activity.
EndocrinologistSpecialist who treats glands and hormones. They treat conditions such as diabetes, menopause, osteoporosis, thyroid diseases and cholesterol diseases.
Family Planning/Sexual HealthBirth control, pregnancy, and sexual health (sexual behaviour, safe sex and STDs).
Gynaecologist / Obstetrician / IVFSpecialist for women's health and birth.  IVF is to help become pregnant.
