Deaf Sports Day

Deaf Sports and Recreation Queensland (DSRQ) will be hosting the fifth Deaf Sports Day at the University of Sunshine Coast Athletics Track. This event has been highly successful every year, designed especially for Deaf and Hearing Impaired children. Siblings and CODAs are also invited to come along. Visual signals are used in all events making the competition fair.

Deaf Sports Day is a wonderful opportunity for Deaf children to compete in an environment that not only evens the playing field, but builds confidence, gives them an opportunity to interact with other Deaf children, but also lets them have fun. Through out the day Deaf mentors will be ready to help guide the children while role models will volunteer to help teach the children skills and make their day all the more enjoyable.

Cost: $10 before the 10th of September
