NABS is the National Auslan Interpreter Booking and Payment Service.
We provide interpreters to Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing people who use sign language.
Private healthcare appointments for people aged over 65 - free interpreting
NABS is free to people aged over 65 years who are not eligible for NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).
All appointment types for NDIS participants
If you have NDIS, NABS can provide Auslan interpreting from your NDIS plan.
Under 65 and Not eligible for NDIS
If you are under 65 years and not eligible for NDIS, NABS cannot provide free Auslan interpreting. Interpreting can be provided at a cost.

Face to face interpreting (onsite)
Video Remote Interpreting (online)
