Interpreting in Mental Health Settings

This ASLIA VIC workshop is aimed at experienced or interested interpreters working in the mental health field.

Hear from Senior Mental Health nurse Glen Collett as he shares insights into the Australian mental health system. In addition, professional interpreters Marianne Bridge and Cheryl Sandilands will discuss the role of interpreters in the mental health setting and contemporary challenges faced by Auslan interpreters.

Participants will have an opportunity to discuss personal experiences within this field.
